Description

This workshop will take a deeper dive into the My Health Record system and explore its features, functionalities, benefits and uses, as they relate to General Practice and all staff within General Practice. The workshop will prepare participants for opt out impacts, communication with patients and how to engage with the system and integrate it with their clinical workflow.

  • List the features and benefits of My Health Record in General Practice
  • Describe the benefits of the My Health Record system and the opt out process to patients
  • Describe the privacy and security measures taken to protect My Health Record
  • Describe how access to more comprehensive clinical information (access via My Health Record) can positively contribute to patient care.
